Are you missing out? Is there an essential feature that every site should have that is missing from your site? Does this mean you are missing out on traffic, followers or missing out on potential opportunities?
It’s really important to have the right elements on your site if you want to succeed. Sometimes in the whole excitement of setting up and then the rush to create content and share all the ideas you have on your mind just waiting to explode out – you can miss some of the fundamentals.
If you want:
- great engagement from your readers
- easy navigation
- visitor conversion/sales
- to work with brands
- more followers
- more page views
- blogging success!
then you can’t neglect the small stuff in order to generate that successful big picture and make your blogging goals more easily achievable.
I’ve noticed while completing site video reviews for my new consultancy clients, that new sites are often missing out on these basics and not always recognising why they are important for success. Trust me, every single thing on your site matters. It could be that it matters in a good way, or matters in a bad way, or it could be that it matters that it isn’t there at all.
When I carry out my reviews I do use a site checklist and thought it would be great to pass this on to you all to use. Carry out a quick self-audit of your site and go down through the checklist, seeing what essential site elements I recommend and why I think it’s important to have them.

I’ve tidied up my personal site checklist and made it into a smart PDF download for you to use. Take a few minutes to carry out your own site audit and look for those small but important elements you are missing. Fill out your email in the box below and I’ll send the PDF to your inbox right away.
And don’t forget to share this page with your blogging friends. They’ll thank you!
